Hello Supporters,

Thredbo 2010 was a great challenge. It took 10.5 hours and 36km to walk, hike and climb Mount Kosciuszko twice in the one day. There were 27 people who joined for the weekend and 19 who came on the hike. It was a great achievement for all the participants.

In 2010 we managed to raise $23,000 which is the best year so far. That is thanks to all the participants who got people to sponsor them for the hike. The funds will be donated in May 2010 to HeartKids. These funds will buy two much needed resuscitation trolley’s for the cardiac ward in the RCH as well as a much needed high tech cooling blanket. Furthermore, there will be a small donation made to the Monash Cancer Children’s Centre which is a great centre that is currently helping a friend of mine’s child.

I would like to thank all my sponsors for supporting me this year, without them the Foundation would not be as strong. Furthermore, the support from public donations this years has been unbelievable with over 120 individual people/companies donating to SCCF.

This year’s total brings the overall total raised by Josh and SCCF to over $53,000!
